About
Mosaic is a packing puzzle game where you rotate, flip, and place shaped pieces to fit them into the board. It is based on the Kanoodle puzzle.
How to play
- Drag a piece from your inventory onto the board.
- Tap a piece in the inventory to rotate it.
- Long-press or right-click a piece to flip it.
- Drag a placed piece to move it, or tap it to return it to your inventory.
- Pieces cannot overlap or hang off the board.
- The board is solved when every inventory piece has been placed.
Tips
- Start with the largest pieces. They have fewer possible placements, so placing them early reduces trial-and-error.
- Play on corners and edges first. Pieces that cleanly fit against the border are easier to lock in than pieces floating in the middle.
- Rotate and flip pieces mentally before moving them. A piece that looks wrong may fit after being flipped, not just rotated.
- Don't commit too early. Backtrack before the board gets too crowded.
