About
Tiles is a spatial puzzle game where you divide the grid into rectangles using numbered clues. Tiles is similar to LinkedIn Patches but is more based on Shikaku, an original Nikoli puzzle.
How to play
- Drag on the board to start drawing a tile.
- Drag from a tile to resize it.
- Tap a tile to remove it.
- Each tile must contain exactly one number, and its area must match that number. For example, a 4 can be covered by a 4x1, 1x4, or 2x2 tile.
- The board is solved once you've covered every number in correct tiles.
Tips
- Not a tip, but Tiles is a great math trainer for kids. While playing, they learn multiplication, such as a 12 can be 1x12, 2x6, or 3x4.
- If you get stuck, look at the puzzle from a distance and try to remove some tiles you made.
